We are seeking a highly articulate, professional, and motivated Retail Sales Assistant / Bespoke Consultant to be the first point of contact for our valued clientele.

The Role: Retail Sales Assistant / Bespoke Consultant

The Retail Sales Assistant is a critical role that blends direct sales, high-level client service, and product knowledge. You will be responsible for welcoming clients, providing expert consultation and styling advice, guiding them through the bespoke process, and ensuring the store environment reflects our luxury brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Luxury Client Service & Sales

  • Welcome and engage all clients warmly, providing a highly personalized and consultative selling experience from the moment they enter the store.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and team monthly sales targets for bespoke suits, sherwanis, tuxedos, and accessories.
  • Act as a style expert and consultant, advising clients on fabric choices, fit, style trends, and appropriate attire for various occasions (e.g., weddings, black tie events).
  • Conduct detailed fabric and style presentations, utilizing swatches and design options to convert interest into bespoke orders.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, including order placement, processing payments, and arranging follow-up fittings and delivery.

2. Bespoke Consultation Support

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of bespoke tailoring techniques, fit adjustments, and the construction of premium garments.
  • Assist the Master Tailor/Fitter during initial consultations, measurements, and subsequent fitting sessions, ensuring clear communication of client requirements.
  • Accurately input and maintain client profiles, order details, and measurement records in the CRM and POS systems.

3. Store Operations and Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain an immaculate and orderly sales floor and fitting room area, adhering strictly to Presidents Fashion's visual merchandising guidelines.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving, pricing, tagging, and organizing high-value merchandise.
  • Perform daily opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and sales reconciliation accurately.
  • Handle customer returns, exchanges, and basic inquiries professionally, escalating complex issues to the Store Manager.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Proactively follow up with clients post-purchase to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships that encourage repeat business.
  • Assist in organizing and executing in-store client events or private viewing sessions.
  • Use communication skills to build loyalty and develop a personal client book.

Qualifications and Experience

  • 1-3 years of experience in a retail sales role, ideally within the luxury sector (fashion, jewellery, watches, or high-end services).
  • Proven ability to achieve sales targets and a commission-driven mindset.
  • Knowledge and passion for men's fashion, especially bespoke tailoring, suits, and ceremonial wear (sherwanis, tuxedos) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English (additional regional languages are a plus) with a poised and articulate presentation style.
  • Professional, polished appearance and demeanor, suitable for a luxury brand environment.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications (MS Office).
  • A highly collaborative spirit and ability to work effectively as part of a small, dedicated team.
