The Role: Assistant Fashion Designer The Assistant Fashion Designer will work directly under the guidance of the Lead Designer to support all phases of the design and production process, with a primary focus on bespoke menswear including tailoring for suits, sherwanis, and tuxedos. Stay updated on the latest trends in luxury international and Indian menswear (especially bespoke tailoring). 2. Sampling and Production Manage the sampling process from initial concept to final prototype, tracking all iterations and revisions. Liaise closely with the in-house tailoring unit and external vendors to ensure design specifications, fit, and quality standards are strictly met. Conduct fittings and quality checks on prototypes and final bespoke garments, noting necessary alterations and ensuring precise fit and finish. Document all changes and updates throughout the production cycle accurately. 3. Administrative and Store Support Prepare design boards, presentation materials, and line sheets for internal reviews and client consultations. Assist the sales team with technical garment knowledge during client consultations for complex bespoke orders. Organize and maintain the design studio and archives. Manage the design calendar and project timelines to ensure deadlines are met. Qualifications and Experience Degree or Diploma in Fashion Design or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a design studio, preferably with experience in menswear, tailoring, or luxury/bespoke fashion.
