Retail Sales Assistant

As a retail store assistant, you will be responsible for greeting customers in a warm and welcoming manner, as well as assisting them with their shopping needs. Providing detailed product information and recommendations will be a key part of your role to ensure customers make informed purchasing decisions. Operating the cash register accurately and handling transactions with precision is essential to maintain a smooth checkout process. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, including restocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability. Staying updated on promotions, products, and store policies is necessary to effectively communicate information to customers. Handling customer complaints professionally and knowing when to escalate issues will contribute to a positive shopping experience. Supporting inventory counts and deliveries as required will be part of your responsibilities, along with striving to meet sales targets and contributing to the overall success of the store.
