Retail Sales Assistant

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Cement Sales Representative to promote our cement brand to masons, contractors, and Individual Home Builders (IHBs) in assigned territories. The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting construction sites, building relationships with key stakeholders, and convincing them to use our cement brand for their projects.Key Responsibilities:

• Visit construction sites, identify potential customers, and promote our cement brand
• Build and maintain strong relationships with masons, contractors, and IHBs to increase sales and market share
• Convincingly demonstrate the benefits and unique selling points of our cement brand to customers
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and workshops to showcase our cement products
• Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, and expand existing customer relationships
• Meet or exceed monthly sales targets and contribute to the growth of our cement business
• Gather market feedback, competitor intelligence, and customer insights to inform sales strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing and logistics, to ensure smooth sales operations

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the construction materials or cement industry
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a large territory
• Basic knowledge of construction practices and materials
• Familiarity with local market trends, competitors, and customer needs
• Proficiency in local language(s) and English
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience with CRM software and sales management tools
• Knowledge of cement products, their applications, and industry standards
