Job Description

Role & responsibilities Assist in planning and buying merchandise according to sales forecasts and budget guidelines. Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to ensure optimal inventory. Work closely with suppliers and vendors to place orders, track shipments, and resolve delivery issues. Analyze sales data and customer trends to identify opportunities for product assortment improvements. Support the Senior Merchandiser in preparing reports, presentations, and inventory reviews. Coordinate with marketing and store teams for promotions, displays, and product launches. Maintain accurate records of purchases, sales, and stock movements. Assist in pricing strategy and markdown planning. Help ensure product quality and compliance with company standards. Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities. Preferred candidate profile Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or related field preferred. 5-10 years of experience in retail merchandising or related role. Strong analytical and numerical skills. Good communication and negotiation skills. Detail-oriented with good organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and merchandising software. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced retail environment.
