Retail Buyer (Buying & Merchandising)

We are seeking a Retail Buyer (Buying & Merchandising) specializing in Ethnic wear for a reputed Retail brand in Gurgaon. The ideal candidate will have 5 - 10 years of experience in Product Selection & Product Development. It is essential to have a background in Ethnic, Fusion & Indo-western wear categories. Candidates from Retail brands are preferred for this role. As a Retail Buyer, your primary responsibility will be the execution of all orders placed, ensuring timely and complete deliveries (OTIF). You will be required to monitor, study, analyze, and understand market trends for different garment categories, using the data to predict future results. It is crucial to meet customer expectations in terms of fashionability, variety, quality, and price. Additionally, you will be responsible for translating trends into saleable options, achieving target sales, and margins. You will place purchase orders with approved suppliers based on agreements and negotiate purchase values and terms with unique suppliers. This is a full-time position with a salary range of 14.00 to 15.00 Lacs per annum. The working schedule is 5 days a week.
