Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced IT Resume Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing resumes specifically tailored for IT professionals. You will work closely with clients to understand their experience, skills, and career goals and transform that into a compelling resume that showcases their expertise and attracts potential employers. The role requires a deep understanding of the IT industry, key skills, technical jargon, and an ability to tailor resumes to meet specific job requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional resume writer, preferably specializing in IT roles.
• Strong understanding of the IT industry, including knowledge of key technologies, software, and IT terminology.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Familiarity with ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) and resume formatting to ensure maximum visibility.
• Ability to effectively communicate with clients to understand their career achievements, goals, and challenges.
• Experience working with LinkedIn profiles and understanding of best practices for online presence.
• Ability to write clear, concise, and compelling content that highlights a client’s strengths and technical expertise.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in resume writing or career coaching (e.g., CPRW - Certified Professional Resume Writer).
• Experience with career coaching or job search consulting.
• Familiarity with various IT domains (Software Development, Networking, IT Security, Cloud Computing, Data Science, etc.).
• Experience writing for executives or senior-level IT professionals.
• Familiarity with portfolio creation tools and platforms for showcasing IT projects.

Educational Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

Relevant certifications or training in resume writing and career coaching (optional).
