Restaurant waitress

A Restaurant Waitress is responsible for delivering excellent customer service by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience. The role requires good communication skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables.
• Present menus and provide detailed information on food and beverage items.
• Take accurate food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
• Check on guests frequently to ensure they are satisfied with their meals.
• Handle guest queries, concerns, and special requests politely.
• Maintain table settings and ensure cleanliness of dining areas.
• Process billing, handle cash/card transactions, and provide receipts.
• Follow hygiene and safety standards as per restaurant policies.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff, supervisors, and other team members for smooth operations.
• Upsell menu items, promotions, and special dishes when appropriate.
• Ensure all closing duties are completed, including cleaning, restocking, and organizing the service area.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a waitress/waiter preferred (but not mandatory).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Good teamwork and customer service orientation.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Neat and professional appearance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹13,000.00 per month
