Job Description

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Waiter is responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking food and drink orders, serving dishes, and ensuring guest satisfaction in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival.
Present menus, take food and beverage orders accurately.
Serve food and beverages according to standard procedures.
Ensure tables are clean, well-presented, and properly set.
Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and daily specials.
Handle customer queries and complaints with professionalism.
Process bills and handle payments accurately.
Follow hygiene, health, and safety guidelines strictly.
Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff for timely service.
Upsell food and beverage items when appropriate.
Clear and reset tables for the next guests.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant area.

Requirements:

Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel (preferred).
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pleasant and well-groomed appearance.
Ability to work under pressure and in a team.
Flexibility to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
Basic math and billing handling skills.
