Job Description

Role Overview: As a Disaster Recovery Manager at Micron Technology, your primary responsibility is to manage disaster recovery planning efforts, focusing on ensuring the adequacy of contingency plans for critical business areas, functions, and applications. You will collaborate with business unit management to enhance disaster recovery plans, ensuring continued operations, asset protection, and loss mitigation during disruptions. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate activities of technology resources with Micron's business units and development groups - Direct communications between the BCP/Crisis Management Team, IT DR Stakeholders, Incident Response Teams, ITLT & Business Users - Participate in appropriate business unit and development planning meetings and activities - Assist in enhancing, formalizing, and standardizing the business planning process across all business units - Develop, coordinate, and maintain comprehensive contingency plans and validation methodology - Perform relevant job duties such as metrics gathering, planning, review, testing, documentation, and other activities - Conduct periodic reviews and tests of established disaster recovery plans and procedures Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience - Experience in team environments related to the implementation of Business Impact Analysis project and ITDR program work - Knowledge of information and operational technologies, networks, user-facing applications, and middleware - Understanding of physical and virtual systems and their interdependencies - Familiarity with information security practices, technologies, and infrastructure - Experience in conducting risk assessments and impact analysis on technology interdependencies - Ability to develop recovery plans based on business impact analysis information - Proficiency in identifying and analyzing gaps in DR plans - Experience in facilitating small to large group meetings for technical design, problem-solving, and task implementation Additional Company Details (if present): Micron Technology, Inc. is an industry leader in innovative memory and storage solutions.
