Role Overview: As a Resident Medical Officer at the MOC, your primary responsibility is to manage patient care effectively. You will collaborate closely with your team of doctors, visit IPD patients regularly, conduct rounds, and monitor their progress for providing optimal medical attention. Key Responsibilities: - Attending to patients in the IPD, noting changes in symptoms, and assessing their general conditions before the consultant's arrival. - Informing the consultant about the patient's condition and reports, and deciding on the suitability for chemotherapy in consultation with the consultant. - Maintaining patient waiting times as per the prescribed standards. - Ensuring that patient feedback forms are completed by patients or their relatives. - Collecting Google reviews for the center as per the specified target. - Conducting blood tests, documenting clinical notes, and counseling patients on chemotherapy procedures, duration, and addressing any queries they may have. - Keeping patient records in accordance with the hospital's administration standards. - Assisting the Consultant, documenting clinical findings, and participating in ward rounds as needed. - Providing medical services within the hospital based on a roster schedule. - Updating admitting consultants on any changes in patients' medical conditions and actions taken. - Adhering to consultants' instructions for individual patient care regimes. - Being well-versed in relevant procedures, policies, and clinical risk management protocols. - Participating in clinical audit activities and contributing to the implementation of clinical governance practices.
