Resident Medical Officer

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and competent Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to provide continuous medical care to inpatients and support consultants in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients. The RMO will be responsible for monitoring patient conditions, responding to medical emergencies, and ensuring timely and effective clinical care across hospital wards. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong clinical skills, sound medical judgment, and the ability to work efficiently in a hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide round-the-clock medical care to admitted patients as per hospital protocols.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, including code blue situations.
• Assist consultants during ward rounds, procedures, and clinical decision-making.
• Prescribe medications and order investigations as per hospital guidelines.
• Coordinate with nursing staff and other departments to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate medical records, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
• Counsel patients and attendants regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and follow-up care.
• Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and ethical medical practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
• Valid medical council registration.
• 0–3 years of clinical experience; hospital experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in shifts, including night and emergency duties.
• Commitment to patient safety, confidentiality, and professional ethics.

Pay: From ₹15,000.00 per month
