Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Medical Officer (RMO) to join our dynamic healthcare team. The RMO will be responsible for the day-to-day medical care of inpatients, providing routine and emergency services under the guidance of senior medical staff.[ This role is pivotal in monitoring patient health, responding to clinical emergencies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Patient Care and Management:

o Provide comprehensive medical care to inpatients, including conducting physical examinations, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, and developing treatment plans.

o Monitor patients' progress, interpret diagnostic tests, and modify treatment plans as necessary.

o Conduct daily ward rounds to assess patient health and ensure continuity of care.

o Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by senior medical staff.

Emergency Response:

o Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing immediate life support and coordinating with emergency teams.

o Handle urgent admissions and provide initial medical assessments when the consultant on duty is not immediately available.

Clinical and Procedural Duties:

o Assist in medical procedures and minor surgeries under supervision.

o Perform routine medical procedures as required.

o Take blood samples, insert IV lines, and perform other essential clinical tasks.

Documentation and Communication:

o Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

o Effectively communicate with patients and their families, explaining medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.

o Collaborate and communicate clearly with consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care.

Supervision and Training:

o Supervise and mentor junior medical staff, interns, and nursing staff.

o Participate in and contribute to ongoing medical education programs and clinical meetings

Experience:

o Previous clinical experience in a hospital setting is preferred.

Skills:

o Strong clinical skills in patient assessment and diagnosis.

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.

o Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.

o Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.

o Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

o Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹60,000.00 per month
