Resident Engineer - NTPC Korba

Role Overview: In this role, you will be responsible for resolving hardware and software issues reported by customers on a daily basis as part of the AMC. You will visit customer sites on a deputation basis and stay long-term if required. Your key responsibilities will include staying in regular contact with customers to generate future business opportunities, keeping updates on the product lifecycle, handling customer inquiries/requests in a timely manner, providing technical support to customers and site engineers, identifying and communicating technical risks, and participating in guiding the resolution of technical issues for projects under execution. Additionally, you will promote collaboration and travel to sites when necessary to solve technical issues or lead commissioning activities in critical projects. Key Responsibilities: - Resolve hardware and software issues reported by customers as part of the AMC - Visit customer sites on a deputation basis and stay long-term if required - Generate future business opportunities by staying in regular contact with customers - Keep updates on the product lifecycle - Provide technical support to customers and site engineers - Identify and communicate technical risks of proposed solutions/systems - Participate in guiding the resolution of technical issues for projects under execution - Promote collaboration and call on experts from across the company when necessary - Travel to sites to solve technical issues or lead commissioning activities in critical projects Qualifications Required: - Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in Automation, SCADA, PLC, DCS, VFD, Project Sales, implementation, and Tendering - Knowledge of various verticals like power, water, metal, and oil and gas industries - Expertise in Emerson PLC and SCADA is an added advantage - Bachelor's degree or any equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, instrumentation, and Automation Engineering or any related field - Proficient in MS Office Suites such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint - 3-year diploma in Electrical, Electronics, instrumentation, and Automation Engineering or any related field (Note: Any additional details about the company were not provided in the job description),
