Writes daily progress notes
Perform preoperative work up
Order appropriate referrals
Order appropriate investigations
Interpret hemodynamic parameters in critically ill patients
Interpret laboratory & radiology results
Orders transfusions of blood and blood products
Order appropriate medication and other orders
Prepare an appropriate discharge summary
Assist/Coordinate cardio-pulmonary resuscitation
Interpret non-invasive cardiac function testing
Participation in teaching and academic activities both intradepartment & interdepartment
Assist Neuro Surgeons in the operations.
Proficient in the procedures required for a Neuro surgical trainees.
Perform minor operations related to Neurological surgery under the supervision of a Consultant.
Surgical cover to ICU.
