Medcare Hospitals Medical Centres is looking for Resident - Anaesthesiology & Critical Care to join our dynamic team and embark on a rewarding career journey.

As a Resident in Anaesthesiology and Critical Care, you will be responsible for providing medical care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures and those in critical condition
You will work under the supervision of attending physicians and experienced anesthesiologists to ensure the safety and comfort of patients during surgery and in the critical care unit
Key Responsibilities:Anesthesia Management:Assist in the administration of anesthesia to patients undergoing surgery, including the induction, maintenance, and emergence phases
Monitor patients' vital signs and adjust anesthesia as needed to ensure their safety and comfort
Administer pain relief and sedation to patients in the intensive care unit
Critical Care:Provide medical care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
Monitor and manage patients with life-threatening conditions, including those on ventilators and other life support systems
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, respiratory therapists, and other specialists, to provide comprehensive care
Patient Assessment:Perform preoperative and postoperative patient assessments to evaluate their medical history, risk factors, and current health status
Conduct thorough physical examinations and order diagnostic tests as necessary
Documentation:Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient care, including anesthesia protocols, progress notes, and critical care assessments
Education and Training:Stay current with advancements in anesthesia and critical care medicine through continuous medical education and training
Participate in teaching and mentoring medical students and junior residents
Emergency Response:Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies, including code situations, and provide immediate medical intervention
Compliance and Safety:Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of patients and staff
Comply with ethical and legal standards in patient care and medical practice
