Research Trainee

Job Overview

We are looking for a curious, committed, and detail-oriented Research Trainee to support our qualitative research initiatives. The role involves working on both primary and secondary research, focusing on in-depth content analysis, field insights, and narrative building. The trainee will collaborate with senior researchers and assist in developing actionable inputs for ongoing projects, reports, and strategy briefs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a robust research portfolio, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
• Conduct comprehensive research on socio-economic and political scenarios in alignment with the consultancy&aposs mandate.
• Analyse, assess, and verify collected data, ensuring integrity and relevance to ongoing projects.
• Carry out in-depth interviews and surveys to gather primary data on political constituencies and related topics.
• Stay informed about trends in political marketing and the domestic political landscape to inform research and strategy.
• Draft reports, presentations, briefs based on research findings
• Perform any other research-related duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Political Science, Public Policy, Economics or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in both Hindi and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in conducting qualitative and quantitative research.
• Basic knowledge of data analysis techniques and tools, including MS Excel for data management and analysis.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and reliability of collected data.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess and interpret data.
