Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsible for Formulation development of Solid orals.
Conducting Literature search and preparation of Literature Report.
Review of Patent evaluation and developing non-infringing formulation.
Innovator product characterization and reverse engineering studies.
Conducting API characterization and preparing Prototype formulations.
Evaluation of dissolution profiles and comparison with Innovator formulation.
Evaluating trial batch results scientifically, accordingly planning for further experiments.
Formula and Process Optimisation studies.
Taking TT demo batches and scale up studies.
Stability studies and Data interpretation.
Documentation as per regulatory requirements (MFC, Specifications, Product Development Report, etc).
Monitoring validation batches in plant.
Submitting samples for Bio-Equivalence studies and Evaluation of BE results.

Preferred candidate profile

2 - 6 years of experience in formulation development of oral Solid dosage forms (preferable Liquid).
Knowledge of ICH, US & EU guidelines for generic drug product development.
Candidates with hands on experience in QbD & DoE will be preferred.
Qualification M.Pharm Pharmaceutics or equivalent, Ph.D. will be preferred.
