POSITION SUMMARY

In this role, you will contribute to generating evidences of educational practices for adoption in India. Secondary Research: You will conduct a thorough review of existing research literature to identify relevant frameworks that support the data collection, analysis and visualization Primary Research: You will actively participate in studies conducted at our on-site lab school, Shikha Academy. This includes data collection, analysis, dashboard creation, extracting key insights that inform the design, implementation and effect of the in-house developed curricula and educational products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Education research activities include:

• creation of research proposals for impactful educational initiatives to generate evidence for the Shikha eco system
• development of research instruments and implementation of research design.
• collection and cleaning data for analysis using quantitative and qualitative methods.
• dashboard design, development and data visualization to extract key insights on progress of the intervention
• staying current on data handling practices in education
• working with the other departments - Educators/academic team, IT

WHAT YOU’RE SIGNING UP FOR

• Support data collection and management across educational programs, ensuring accurate tracking of student performance metrics, attendance patterns, and learning outcomes.
• Create and maintain dynamic dashboards using data visualization tools to visualize key educational metrics and provide actionable insights for faculty and administrators.
• Assist in analyzing large datasets using statistical tools to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in student learning and program effectiveness.
• Help integrate data from various sources (student information systems, learning management systems, assessment platforms) to create comprehensive analytical views.
• Help automate regular reporting processes by developing efficient data pipelines and standardized analysis templates.
• Support the development of data models that help predict student performance, identify at-risk students, and measure program effectiveness
