Responsibilities : (1) Prototypedevelopment (2) Duediligence studies such as stability studies and performance evaluation. (3) Qualityevaluation: Analysis and sensorial evaluations of finished product.. (4) Ensuredocumentation of prototype formulations, raw material, stability studies andpilot plant operations. (5) Maintainingof library of competitor products. Requirements Qualifications : M. Sc. / M.Tech (Oils, Oleochemicals and SurfactantsTechnology / other branches of Chemistry / M. Tech. (Cosmetics) From a reputed University, passed in First Class, 3 to 6 years\u2019 experience. Work Experience : Hasworked in the area of Personal Care product development and evaluations (usageand product life cycle). Hashands-onexperience in product development or formulation development, prototype developmentand wet chemical analysis related to product and in handling instruments such pHmeter, Moisture Analyser, Viscometer and other basic analytical instrumentsused in Personal Care. Knowledge on regulatory requirements of soaps and cosmetics. Has been involved in cosmetic formulation development activities likemaking batches, conducting stability and sensorial evaluations etc. I Isexposed to and comfortable with scale up mechanism, batch making in pilot plantand & sensorial studies of personal care products. Skills : Soundunderstanding of the principles of Chemistry, process chemistry of Soaps andsolids. Familiarity with raw materials used in personalcare products and properties Excellent communication skills (spoken andwritten) Clarity in thoughts, enthusiastic, self-driven andhas willingness to learn Ability to work in cross functional teams. Self-driven, ability to work with cross functionalteams Knowledge Knowledge of cosmetic,personal wash, bar soaps and home care formulation development, wet chemistryand instrumental analysis methods Knowledge of Surfactants,oleo chemicals and Raw Material functional benefits. Adequate knowledge on usage of basic IT and statistical tools. Basic computer knowledge
