Research Associate - Consumer & Sensory Sciences

Role & responsibilities

Product efficacy and sensory assessments and result communication as per the set schedules.

Work independently and in teams to enable timely decisions on assigned projects.

Actively engage with Consumers to draw insights on products and consumer behavior and preferences.

Operate and maintain advanced Instruments to measure Skin and Hair attributes.

Ensure documentation thoroughness of all the assigned projects.

Participate in ideation and troubleshooting activities within the group.

Assist in product claim substantiation through Panel / Consumer studies, product efficacy demonstrations etc.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications : Masters in Biological Sciences (Microbiology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry) , Knowledgeable about Statistics

Work Experience : Atleast 3-6 years of experience in Personal Care and Home Care product evaluations, Basic appreciation of Statistics

Skills :

Self-Drive, Clear and Open Communication Skills, Sound Analytical Mindset, Inclination to learn and operate advanced instruments and research methodology employed in product efficacy assessments and understanding consumer behaviour, openness to approach and interact with study Consumers/ participants/ volunteers/ panelists.

Networking capabilities; Language Fluency: Kannada, Hindi, English. Understanding of Consumer Research

Knowledge :

An above average understanding of Skin and Hair Biology and basic methods in evaluating product efficacies in Personal Care and Home Care domain. Fair working knowledge on: (a) Personal Care and Home Care products and Assessment methods. (b) MS Excel, MS Word, Powerpoint, Statistics.
