Job Description

As a Research Assistant at eDEx Research, you will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's writing and research activities. Your main responsibilities will include conducting extensive academic research, analyzing data, and creating high-quality content, particularly in the fields of commerce, management, and economics. It is essential that you possess strong expertise in academic writing, adhere to plagiarism-free standards, and have proficiency in various research methodologies. Your key responsibilities will involve conducting in-depth research on relevant topics, preparing academic content that meets university standards, and ensuring clarity, coherence, and proper academic structure in your writing. You will also be responsible for guaranteeing that all written content is original and free from plagiarism and AI. Additionally, you will conduct both quantitative and qualitative data analysis for academic projects using statistical tools like SPSS, Stata, Excel, and R. In terms of academic integrity, you must follow required citation styles such as APA, MLA, Harvard, or Chicago, and maintain proper referencing and formatting compliance. Collaboration and communication skills are also vital as you will work closely with writers and editors to enhance research quality and provide support in structuring research methodologies for dissertations and reports. To qualify for this role, you should have a PhD in Commerce, Management, or Economics (or equivalent expertise) either completed or in progress. Essential skills include strong academic writing abilities, expertise in creating plagiarism-free content, knowledge of research methodologies and tools, proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools, as well as familiarity with academic referencing styles. Soft skills such as attention to detail, accuracy, time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are also required. This is a part-time position with flexible timings that allow you to work from home as long as deadlines are met.
