Research Scientist Process Chemistry

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize chemical processes from lab to pilot plant scale.

• Conduct process development and chemical synthesis for new and existing products.

• Execute kilo lab (kg-scale) experiments and ensure reproducibility for scale-up.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth technology transfer to the pilot plant and production.

• Prepare technical documentation, process flow diagrams, and reports.

• Maintain compliance with safety, quality, and EHS standards.

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost optimization.

Required Skills & Expertise:

• Strong knowledge of process chemistry and organic synthesis.

• Hands-on experience in process development and chemical development.

• Exposure to kilo lab / kg-scale operations and pilot plant activities.

• Understanding of scale-up processes, reaction optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Familiarity with analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, NMR, etc.) for reaction monitoring.

Qualifications & Experience:

• B.Sc / M.Sc.

  in Organic Chemistry or Process Chemistry.

• 2–8 years of relevant industry experience in R&D, process development, or pilot plant operations.
