Repair Engineer - (Stress & Design)

As the Structural Repair Engineer, your primary role is to ensure the timely return-to-service of commercial aircraft by providing optimal structural repair solutions focused on design and stress perspectives, ultimately ensuring product safety. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to make well-informed decisions. Key Responsibilities: - Search for the necessary inputs to evaluate a given damage scenario, including referencing aircraft configuration drawings and utilizing hand calculations/computer methods. - Propose and evaluate structural repair solutions for airlines, working closely with design, stress/fatigue, materials, and performance teams. - Create technical justification documents for design and stress and obtain approval for the proposed solutions. - Identify and contribute to local improvement initiatives, ensuring alignment among stakeholders and effective monitoring and reporting. - Develop maintenance programs to guarantee the airworthiness of the aircraft. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, preferably in Civil, Aerospace, or Mechanical Engineering. - Profound technical expertise in structural design and stress analysis, including F&DT. - Ability to collaborate efficiently, work independently, make prompt yet substantial decisions, and excel in a high-pressure setting. - Adaptable to working in a diverse, multi-cultural, and international team environment. - Excellent communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills, with a continuous learning mindset and a proactive approach to contributing to the role.
