Job Description

Zopper is a series D-funded startup in the InsurTech space, focusing on enabling large B2C businesses to offer insurance solutions to their customers. The company seamlessly merges insurance and technology to deliver end-to-end services to its business partners. By understanding the requirements of these partners, Zopper creates customized insurance products through collaborations with insurance companies. These tailor-made insurance plans are then integrated into the tech systems of the business partners using customized APIs on the SAAS platform. The Sales enablement team, a dedicated on-field team, facilitates the final sales process by training and supporting the sales teams of the business partners. In this role, you will be responsible for various key tasks. You will handle Policy Renewal Reminders, contacting customers via phone to remind them about upcoming policy renewals and guiding them through the renewal process. Providing Customer Support will be crucial, addressing any queries related to existing insurance policies, renewal procedures, and offering necessary assistance. Additionally, maintaining accurate Data Management records of customer interactions, follow-up calls, renewal statuses, and addressing customer requests will be part of your responsibilities. Timely Follow-ups are essential to ensure customers are contacted within the appropriate timeframe to prevent coverage lapses. You will ensure persistent follow-ups until policies are successfully renewed. Your focus on Customer Satisfaction will involve delivering excellent service, resolving concerns promptly, and aiding with renewal inquiries. Escalation Handling is vital - identifying and escalating issues needing further attention to senior customer service representatives or managers. Regular Reporting on renewal status and customer feedback to supervisors is crucial for accurate tracking of renewal rates and customer retention. To excel in this role, you should possess strong Communication Skills, particularly in verbal communication with a pleasant phone manner. Being Customer-Centric is key, with the ability to empathize, handle sensitive situations, and provide effective solutions. Attention to Detail is necessary to maintain accurate customer data and renewal statuses. Efficient Time Management is essential to handle a high volume of calls and follow-ups while ensuring quality interactions. While prior experience in a customer service or telecalling role is preferred, it is not mandatory. Basic Knowledge of Insurance Products, including policies and terminology, will be advantageous, though training will be provided. Preferred Attributes include having strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with customers, self-motivation to work independently and collaboratively, and familiarity with CRM software or call center tools. This role requires working 6 days a week to effectively fulfill the responsibilities and contribute to the success of Zopper in the InsurTech domain.,
