Job Description: Remote Website Developer

Type: Part-time (30–50 hours per month)
Work Setup: Fully Remote — employee monitoring app required

About the Role

We’re looking for a Website Developer who can build, maintain, and improve WordPress websites that look great, load fast, and rank well on Google. You’ll work on site structure, performance, SEO setup, and day-to-day website enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites (themes, pages, plugins, integrations).
• Build pages and layouts using Elementor and Oxygen Builder (and ensure consistency across devices).
• Optimize websites for SEO (on-page basics, meta titles/descriptions, keywords, internal linking, schema where relevant).
• Improve site speed and performance (image optimization, caching, Core Web Vitals basics).
• Ensure strong mobile + desktop UX (responsive layout, accessibility-friendly patterns).
• Troubleshoot issues (plugin conflicts, layout bugs, performance bottlenecks).
• Work closely with our team to implement improvements, new pages, and new features.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in website development.
• Hands-on experience with Elementor and/or Oxygen Builder (must be comfortable building production pages).
• Strong understanding of SEO fundamentals and how to implement them on WordPress.
• Comfortable managing plugins, themes, hosting basics, and doing routine site maintenance.
• Able to do simple HTML/CSS edits and troubleshoot frontend issues.
• Reliable, communicates well, and meets deadlines.

Bonus

• Able to do hard coding / custom development (HTML/CSS/JS, PHP, custom WordPress tweaks, child themes, custom templates).
• Familiar with performance tools (e.g., PageSpeed insights-style debugging and fixing).
• Can produce simple UI/UX layouts (Figma or Canva).
