Description
Dear Candidate, We are looking for a skilled Network Security Engineer to design, implement, and manage network security solutions to protect systems, data, and infrastructure. If you have expertise in firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and secure network architectures, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Design and implement secure network architectures to safeguard enterprise systems. Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to protect against cyber threats. Perform regular vulnerability assessments and network penetration testing. Monitor and analyze network traffic to detect and mitigate security threats. Implement security policies and best practices for network infrastructure. Ensure compliance with industry security frameworks and regulations. Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into network operations. Investigate and respond to network security incidents and breaches. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong knowledge of network security protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, FTP). Hands-on experience with firewalls (Palo Alto, Cisco ASA, Fortinet), IDS/IPS, and VPNs. Proficiency with SIEM tools for log analysis and threat detection. Knowledge of network segmentation, NAC (Network Access Control), and zero-trust architecture. Experience with packet capture and analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump). Understanding of compliance standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2. Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell) for network security automation. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
