In Your Career, Lets Prove Whats Possible At Lam Research, we create equipment that drives technological advancements in the semiconductor industry Our innovative solutions enable chipmakers to power progress in nearly all aspects of modern life, and it takes each member of our team to make it possible Across our organization, our employees come to work and change the world We take on the toughest challenges with precision and accuracy We push for the next big semiconductor breakthrough We lead the way in one of the most critical and fast-moving industries on the planet And we do it together, with deep connections and limitless collaboration The impact we have on the world is made possible by focusing on our people So we recognize and celebrate our teamsachievements We strive to create an inclusive and diverse culture where everyones contribution and voice has value We evaluate and evolve our offerings, so our people receive the support and empowerment to do meaningful things for their lives, careers, and communities Because at Lam, we believe that when people are the priority and theyre inspired to unleash the power of innovation for a better world together, anything is possible Reliability Program Lead Engineer Date: Feb 11, 2025 Location: Bangalore, IN-Bangalore, IN Req ID: 187536 Worker Category: On-site Flex The Group Youll Be A Part Of The Reliability team is a central team support all the product groups at Lam India Global Hardware team (LIGHT) The incumbent will be reporting to the Group Manager of Reliability team The Impact Youll Make Evaluates, from a reliability standpoint, the materials, properties and techniques used in production Advises design engineering on selection, application and test of electronic components and systems Recommends design or test methods and statistical process control procedures for achieving required levels of product reliability Determines reliability requirements of components and systems to achieve company, customer and any governmental agency reliability objectives Develops new acceleration techniques and analytical tools to assure the early identification of potential problems with new products, packaging, processes, and product reliability Makes recommendations for changes in the selection and application of components and systems May propose changes in design or formulation to improve system and/or process reliability What Youll Do As a member of Reliability team you will be responsible to: Define, revamp and drive Roadmap of Reliability team Define, implement and enhance the best practices of Reliability based product development Participate and Lead cross-function team (CFTs) on various initiatives to demonstrate the reliability advantage Help organization with Reliability allocation, demonstration, validation and growth via mathematical modeling and testing Work on critical reliability issues of Lam tools, work with engineering to resolve them Works to integrate the sub-system level data to the tool level based on various system interactions Assist in design decisions on major subsystems with knowledge of systems principles & approach Perform analysis for system uptime and provide solutions for design as well as other process steps Keep Reliability test stands (capability) up to date, proposes upgrade based on needs to integrate more capabilities Understand the gaps in internal infrastructure capabilities and develop/engage external partners for Reliability testing Develop Predictive Maintenance Models and Spares Inventory optimization algorithms Mentor, coordinate & approve work executed by peers and junior members of the team Coordinate with BU managers/requesters for escalations and work priorities Articulated Value Proposition / Business impact of Work, defines priority based on value Generate IP for Lam and represent Lam in local/global external forums Who Were Looking For Minimum of 10 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree;
