Release Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Release Process Management:

  Maintain, enforce, and continuously improve the end-to-end release process.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  Actively participate in meetings and work closely with development, QA, infrastructure, and database teams to coordinate release activities.

• Client Communication:

  Present detailed runbooks to clients during Change Advisory Board (CAB) calls and ensure all stakeholders are aligned.

• Documentation and Stakeholder Engagement:

  Collaborate directly with product owners (POs) and various business units to ensure all release-related documentation is accurate and complete.

• DevOps and Infrastructure Contributions:

  Dedicate at least 50% of your time to hands-on DevOps and infrastructure activities.

• Pipeline and Infrastructure Deployment:

  Be responsible for deploying and managing pipelines and infrastructure as code.

• CI/CD and Container Management:

  Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines and container technologies to streamline the deployment process.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Release Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., CI/CD, automation).
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure concepts and technologies.
• Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
