Release and Deployment Consultant V, Devops

Role & responsibilities

• DevOps Enablement:

  Minimum 3 years of experience driving DevOps adoption within organizations, including setting up practices, tools, and culture to support continuous delivery and automation.

• Automation & Configuration Management:

  At least 2 years of experience automating processes and pipelines using configuration management and version control tools, ensuring consistency, repeatability, and reduced manual effort.

• Release & Deployment Management:

  Over 3 years of hands-on experience in release and deployment management, including planning, scheduling, executing, and monitoring deployments across environments.

• Release Management Expertise:

  5+ years of experience managing release processes end-to-end, including governance, risk assessment, quality control, and stakeholder communication.

• Atlassian Tools:

  5+ years of practical experience with

  JIRA

  , including workflow customization, backlog management, and integration with CI/CD pipelines.

• Software Development Lifecycle & Agile:

  5+ years of experience working with SDLC processes, Agile methodologies, CI/CD practices, and version control systems (e.g., Git), ensuring alignment between development and operations.

Must Have:

• Minimum 3 years experience enabling DevOps for an organization.
• Minimum 2 year experience automating processes and/or pipelines using configuration and version control tools.
• Minimum 3 years experience in release and/or deployment management.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a lead role with or without direct reports.
• 5 years Experience in release management processes, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• 5 years Experience working with Atlassian Jira/ JIRA
• 5 years of software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, CI/CD, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
