Job Description

Develop and maintain strong relationships with merchants for Overdraft (OD) facility solutions. Identify eligible businesses and assess their requirements for working capital funding. Onboard merchants by explaining benefits, terms, and eligibility criteria of Merchant OD products. Conduct financial analysis and due diligence to ensure creditworthiness of applicants. Coordinate with credit and risk teams for underwriting and approval processes. Ensure end-to-end execution of the OD facility from lead generation to disbursal. Regularly monitor portfolio performance and take timely actions on delinquencies. Promote usage of OD limits by educating merchants on utilization and repayment features. Collaborate with digital and branch banking teams to deliver seamless customer service. Maintain up-to-date records of merchant accounts, credit limits, repayment history, and KYC documents. Provide after-sales support and query resolution to ensure client satisfaction and retention. Achieve individual and team sales targets set for the Merchant OD segment. Conduct market research to identify new merchant segments and competition strategies. Assist in recovery efforts for overdue accounts and coordinate with collections if required. Generate cross-sell and up-sell opportunities for other banking and lending products. Educate merchants on digital banking tools, transaction platforms, and safe banking practices. Prepare MIS reports on leads, conversions, and portfolio health for senior management. Ensure strict adherence to internal guidelines and regulatory norms. Participate in promotional campaigns, merchant meets, and product demos. Uphold the banks reputation by offering transparent, reliable, and customer-centric service. Highest Education Bachelor of Science Working Language English
