Regulatory Reporting Consultant

As a Regulatory Reporting Specialist at our firm, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with regulatory reporting obligations, specifically focusing on MiFID requirements. Your responsibilities will include monitoring transaction reporting, documenting processes, collaborating with stakeholders, and enhancing the regulatory reporting control framework. You will be part of a team dedicated to monitoring trade and transaction reporting breaks under MiFID II, as well as assisting in the development and implementation of compliance monitoring processes. Your role will involve documenting business requirements, facilitating change delivery, conducting user acceptance testing, and validating post-production changes. Continuously assessing transaction reporting risks will be essential, and you will be expected to introduce or enhance controls as necessary. Building and managing management information (MI) and reporting processes to track control failures and their resolution will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. Resolving any failed, inadequate, or missing controls promptly is crucial to maintaining compliance at all times. To excel in this role, you should have at least 4 years of experience in regulatory reporting, with a strong understanding of regulatory obligations impacting operations. Exposure to MiFID regulatory reporting and knowledge of financial instruments such as equities, fixed income, and commodities are required. Effective communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office tools like Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is expected, and familiarity with SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau will be advantageous. You should be capable of managing multiple stakeholders and be a supportive team player willing to collaborate and assist others.
