Job Description

Regional Sales Manager for Secured Assets leads sales teams to achieve targets for secured lending products in a specific region by developing and executing sales strategies, building and nurturing relationships with clients and partners, and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance. Key responsibilities include managing sales budgets, monitoring market trends, training and motivating sales staff, and acting as a liaison between the sales team and senior management to drive revenue growth and market penetration for secured asset financing.

Role & responsibilities

  • Sales Strategy & Execution:

    Develop and implement strategies to achieve regional sales targets for secured assets, such as loans and financing, by targeting specific segments and driving market penetration.
  • Team Leadership:

    Lead, train, and motivate a team of sales representatives, setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing support to ensure they meet and exceed their individual targets.
  • Client & Partner Relationships:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and a network of partners, such as dealers, brokers, and vendors, to generate new leads and business opportunities.
  • Market Analysis:

    Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify new opportunities, adapt strategies, and provide valuable insights to senior management.
  • Operational Oversight:

    Oversee the end-to-end sales process for secured asset transactions, including managing sales budgets, ensuring credit quality, and collaborating with risk and operational teams for efficient service delivery.
  • Reporting & Stakeholder Management:

    Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior leadership, and manage expectations of various internal and external stakeholders.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Proven experience in a regional sales management role or a similar senior sales leadership position.

  • A strong understanding of secured lending products and the asset-based financing market.

  • Strong sales, negotiation, and business development skills to drive revenue and expand market presence.
