Job Description: As a Regional Sales Manager for pesticides, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive revenue growth within your designated region. You will lead a team of sales officers and work closely with distributors to ensure the effective distribution and promotion of our pesticide products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management within the Agro-pesticide industry, along with excellent leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities : Develop and Implement Sales Strategies : Develop comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the region. Manage Sales Team: Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales representatives within the region. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales goals. Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders within the agricultural sector. Identify customer needs and provide solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. Market Analysis : Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats within the region. Use insights to adjust sales strategies and product offerings accordingly. Forecasting and Budgeting : Develop sales forecasts and budgets for the region. Monitor performance against targets and implement corrective actions as needed to ensure objectives are met. Product Promotion : Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional campaigns, product launches, and other marketing activities to drive product awareness and demand. Compliance and Regulations : Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to the sale and distribution of pesticides. Qualifications : Bachelor's / Masters degree in Agriculture. MBA is a plus. Proven track record of success in sales management, preferably in the agricultural or chemical industry. Min. 8 to 12 years of experience in Pesticide industry for Sales and Marketing. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
