Job Description

Regional Manager Sales

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business growth for

    ANSYS simulation solutions

    within mid-market and SMB accounts in the assigned region.
  • Identify potential customers, generate leads, and convert opportunities into successful sales.
  • Manage and expand existing accounts by understanding customer pain points and offering the right ANSYS solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the

    pre-sales and technical teams

    to deliver effective product demonstrations and solution presentations.
  • Develop account plans and strategies to maximize market share and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and ANSYS channel stakeholders.
  • Participate in industry events, webinars, and workshops to enhance brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through regular engagement and post-sales support coordination.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, automotive, aeronautical, or related engineering discipline.
  • 57 years of experience in

    technical sales or business development

    , preferably in

    CAE / CAD / PLM / engineering software

    .
  • Strong understanding of

    ANSYS simulation solutions

    and their industrial applications.
  • Proven ability to manage

    mid-market accounts

    and drive consistent revenue growth.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel across the assigned region.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in selling

    ANSYS or other CAE software

    (e.g., Altair, COMSOL, Siemens, Dassault) to mid-sized enterprises.
  • MBA or postgraduate degree in marketing/business management (preferred).
