The role of Assistant Manager- HR Business Partnering at our client, a leading logistics tech company in India, requires a dynamic and empathetic individual to thrive in a fast-moving environment with a people-first approach. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in engaging with ground teams across regions, influencing zonal and regional leaders, managing employee experience, and ensuring compliance with HR policies and values. Key Responsibilities: Regional People Partnering: - Serve as the primary HR partner for regional teams, understanding their challenges and providing actionable support. - Influence Zonal Heads and Regional Cluster Managers while balancing employee and business priorities. - Travel to key cities/zones for building connections and gathering on-ground feedback. Grievance Handling & Culture Building: - Address employee concerns with empathy and urgency. - Uphold the company's values and culture. - Facilitate whistleblower conversations and handle disciplinary matters with discretion. Performance & Development: - Facilitate performance management discussions with managers. - Collaborate with central HR teams to identify upskilling needs and implement training programs. - Ensure smooth running of feedback mechanisms, confirmations, and performance cases. Engagement & Communication: - Collaborate with city managers to drive engagement, recognition, and connection activities. - Conduct proactive employee 1:1s and pulse check-ins. Requirements: - 2-4 years of experience in HRBP / HR Generalist / Field HR roles. - Proficiency in speaking at least one South Indian language fluently. - Experience in managing regional or distributed teams is a strong advantage. - Strong influencing and communication skills. - Ability to work independently, build trust with the business, and ensure follow-through on outcomes. - Comfort with HR data tracking and maintaining detailed records.
