Responsibilities : Ideal candidate will be working as the Design Lead/ Design Manager for New Product Development Programs for Temperature Controls Product line. Responsible for the complete product design including the Refrigeration Systems Design. Should have the ability to define the requirements, perform refrigeration System design, implement the design based on performance testing results, and take ownership until the product is launched. Should be working closely with the multi-functional team for the successful launch of New Product Development Programs Ensure that the New Product Development Programs are launched on time with high standards of performance, quality and reliability. Drives Innovation Drives continuous process improvement and championing (Practical Process Improvement) PPI tools and standard methodologies. Candidate Requirement: Education: Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering. Masters in Thermal Engineering/ Refrigeration Engineering is desired. Experience: 15+years overall experience with minimum 10+ years of strong technical experience in full life cycle Product design & development. Should have multiple full life cycle NPD program execution experience. Should have strong Refrigeration background. Expertise on VCRS systems (cooling/heating/single stage/ cascaded) and acquaintance with other refrigeration technologies (Thermoelectric, Absorption systems, Stirling engines, TEC, Stirling, Thermosyphons and heat pipes etc). Exposure to design and development of Heat exchangers and chillers. Awareness on global regulatory requirements, certification and engineering standards Capability in handling mechanical & thermal engineering systems along with expertise in Electro-mechanical systems. Develop and instill culture of maintaining highest levels of development practices including technical design, solution development, systems configuration, test documentation & execution, issue identification and resolution, quality assurance with repeatable quality and predictability Help prioritize and deliver project goals and objectives within a matrix reporting structure Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven track record to collaborate and exercise influence across functional teams and engage with internal and external customers. Excellent problem-solving skills as well as analytical abilities Executive presence; strong presentation and interpersonal skills
