Job Description

About the Role

Refrigeration Engineer

Key Responsibilities

System Design & Development

Design complete refrigeration systems, including compressor, evaporator, condenser, and expansion devices.
Perform theoretical validations and ensure compliance with design calculations.

Engineering & Calculations

Calculate cooling/heat load requirements for various applications.
Select suitable components based on performance, reliability, and efficiency.
Conduct thermal and fluid flow calculations to validate designs.

Testing & Optimization

Plan and execute prototype testing of refrigeration systems.
Analyze results and implement design improvements for enhanced performance and reliability.
Troubleshoot and optimize existing systems to improve energy efficiency.

Research & Innovation

Contribute to R&D efforts for new product development.
Identify opportunities for innovation in refrigerant circuits, control systems, and component integration.
Stay updated with the latest technologies, standards, and regulations in refrigeration and thermal systems.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors degree in
Thermal or Mechanical Engineering
(B.Tech) – preferred.
Minimum
5 years of hands-on experience
in refrigeration system design and development.
Strong expertise in
evaporator, condenser, and expansion system design
.
Solid knowledge of
compressor selection
and system balancing.
Experience in
heat load calculations
and system optimization.
Familiarity with testing protocols, instrumentation, and validation methods.
Ability to independently execute and manage projects from concept to validation.
