Reference Data Management Associate C05

The Reference Data Services Rep C05 performs relatively complex assignments with a direct impact on the business by ensuring the quality of tasks or services provided. You will work under little to no direct supervision, providing services for an expansive and/or diverse array of products/services. You will apply working knowledge of technical and professional principles as well as possess in-depth knowledge of team objectives. Understanding how your assigned duties contribute to the work of the team/unit and how units coordinate their efforts and resources to achieve the function's objectives is essential. Ensuring quality and service for yourself and others, you may recommend new options to enhance productivity according to guidelines. Tact and diplomacy are required when exchanging complex or sensitive information with others, being sensitive to audience diversity. Basic knowledge of the organization, the business, and its policies is necessary. You will typically be responsible for resolving basic to moderately complex problems based on practice and precedence, assessing the applicability of similar experiences, and evaluating options under circumstances not covered by procedures. Responsibilities: - Perform on-going maintenance/refresh of existing customer data. - Conduct on-going set up and maintenance of settlement instructions in various internal applications. - Interact daily with global operation teams to ensure timely updates of all settlement instructions. - Actively monitor settlement rates to ensure correct updating of instructions. - Liaise with other operations teams globally to ensure correct and timely addition of settlement instructions to accounts. - Directly source settlement instructions from Clients in response to reference data refresh requirements, trade exception processing, cancel and correct data, requests received via the in-house workflow tool. - Deliver reference data remediation projects as requested by management. - Provide oversight of offshore vendor activity. - Complete all mandatory reports in a timely manner and to the required standard. - Appropriately assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency. Requirements: - 2-4 years of relevant experience. - Knowledge of SSI data; familiarity with external products and services adding value to client and account data management. - Knowledge of end-to-end trade flow across multiple products. - Open to a shifting schedule. - Bachelor's degree.
