Red Hat Sales Specialist

As a Sales Specialist for the Red Hat portfolio at Value Point Systems, you will have the opportunity to drive sales of products such as Red Hat Ansible, Red Hat OpenShift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, and Red Hat 3Scale API. Your role will involve creating sales opportunities in both new and existing customer accounts through strategic demand generation efforts. You will be responsible for selling both products and support services related to the Red Hat portfolio. A key aspect of your role will be to coordinate with various teams, including Pre-sales and Post-sales, to ensure that the necessary support is provided while positioning Red Hat products to customers. You will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide demonstrations, and conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) with the help of the pre-sales team. Successful candidates will possess prior experience in positioning and selling Red Hat products and support services. You should have a deep understanding of the Red Hat product portfolio in order to effectively position the right products to customers. Strong presentation skills are essential for showcasing solutions to customers and highlighting the business value and capabilities of Red Hat products. In addition to driving initial sales, you should be capable of driving growth beyond the first sale and expanding existing engagements into long-term business relationships. Any accreditations related to the Red Hat product portfolio would be advantageous. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent presentation abilities, and the capacity to handle potential escalations with ease.
