Recruiter

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruitment strategies to meet the staffing needs of manufacturing operations (blue-collar, technical, and managerial roles).
• Collaborate with department heads, Unit Head / Business Heads , and HR to understand hiring requirements and forecast workforce needs.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer negotiation, and onboarding.
• Build a strong pipeline of candidates through job portals, campus hiring, social media, employee referrals, and recruitment agencies.
• Ensure all recruitment activities comply with labor laws and internal policies.
• Maintain and analyze recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and quality of hire.
• Coordinate with external vendors and recruitment consultants as needed.
• Implement and optimize the use of applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Monitor and control recruitment costs and budgets.

Preferred candidate profile

• Masters degree in human resources, (MBA, MSW or PGDHR) .
• 7–10 years of recruitment experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Salary Budget – 12 lakhs PA.
• Strong understanding of blue-collar and technical hiring.
• Excellent sourcing skills (LinkedIn, job boards, networking).
• Strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of labor laws and compliance related to hiring.
