Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Receiving Inspector to manage inventory, stock control, and store operations in our aerospace and industrial manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate should be an Aeronautical Engineer or have prior experience as an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), with at least 2 years of experience in store management, expertise in inventory tracking, stock optimization, and compliance with industry standards

Key Responsibilities

1. Incoming Goods Inspection

  • Verify deliveries against purchase orders, supplier CoC, and aerospace specifications.
  • Inspect packaging, labels, and shelf-life conditions.
  • Quarantine and report non-conforming or damaged goods.

2. Documentation & Traceability

  • Review, record, and archive Certificates of Conformance, MSDS, and batch/lot records.
  • Maintain inspection logs for full traceability.
  • Support audits with complete and accurate records.

3. Storage & Handling Compliance

  • Ensure correct storage conditions (temperature, humidity, segregation).
  • Check shelf-life and enforce FEFO (First Expiry First Out).
  • Quarantine and document expired or suspect materials.

4. Pre-Dispatch Verification

  • Verify correct items, batches, and quantities before dispatch.
  • Confirm packaging and labeling meet aerospace and customer requirements.
  • Prevent shipment of expired, damaged, or non-conforming materials.

5. Compliance & Continuous Improvement

  • Follow AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific quality requirements.
  • Report and document non-conformities, raise NCRs, and support CAPA actions.
  • Suggest improvements in inspection, storage, and documentation processes.

6. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE)

  • Handle hazardous consumables safely and in line with HSE regulations.
  • Report unsafe practices or conditions immediately.
  • Maintain cleanliness and contamination control in inspection areas.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or industrial consumables trading (advantage).
  • Knowledge of AS9100 / ISO 9001 quality systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
  • Ability to use inspection tools, ERP/WMS systems, and quality checklists.
  • Good communication skills and teamwork.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • % of incoming goods inspected on time.
  • % of deliveries dispatched without errors.
  • Number of non-conformities detected and resolved.
  • Compliance rate during internal/external audits.
  • Shelf-life control accuracy (% expired materials quarantined before dispatch).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
