Receiving Assistant

Role & responsibilities

• Receiving of raw material like Frozen, Chilled, provision and miscellaneous items is done as per Receiving schedule:

a. Milk & Milk Product are checked for physical quality and Quantity, with Temp and inform lab to collect sample for analysis.

b. Meat & Meat product are checked for physical quality and quantity with Temp and thawing loss as per specification.

c. Fruits and Vegetables are checked for physical quality and quantity.

d. Provision items and Miscellaneous items are received and checked for visual checks like Dented and rested tin products, unsealed and torn packets, stapler pins, rubber bands, wet and torn boxes.

e. Raw materials are received by checking Batch no, Manufacturing date and expiration date.

• Quality checks of fruits and vegetables and mutton.
• Checking temperature and quality of frozen and chilled items.
• Disturbing of raw material to concerned department.
• Ensuring disinfection of fruits, vegetables and mutton.
• Co-ordinates with various Department for Quality, Quantity, temperature, Shortage, extra order, urgent order, late delivery, etc,.
• To co-ordinate and assist Purchase department in cash purchases.
• Monitoring the general cleanliness of Area, Trolley, Baskets, Veg Washer, Veg Sink, arranging Maida Room
• Generating daily receiving reports and forwarding same to accounts department.
• Maintaining material rejection records
• Maintaining HACCP Records & daily checklist Register

Preferred candidate profile

Candidate with proven SAP Knowledge is mandatory.
