Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare rebar shop drawings (plans, elevations, sections, details) according to project requirements.
• Generate bar lists, placement drawings, bending schedules, and accessories list.
• Interpret structural/architectural drawings and coordinate details accurately.
• Apply ACI, CRSI, BS, IS, and project-specific codes.
• Identify constructability issues and raise RFIs when needed.
• Coordinate with project managers, fabricators, and QC teams.
• Revise drawings based on feedback or design changes.
• Ensure outputs meet client standards, sheet formats, and internal quality checks.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering.
• 1–8 years experience in rebar detailing.
• Proficiency in detailing software (AutoCAD is mandatory; knowledge of aSa, CADS RC, RebarCAD, Tekla, etc. is a plus).
• Strong understanding of structural drawings and rebar placing requirements.
• Excellent attention to detail with zero-error approach.
