Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Mid-Level Front End Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in building scalable, high-performance, and responsive web applications. The ideal candidate must be proficient in React, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end engineering practices.
This is a Chennai Onsite opportunity requiring candidates to work 5 days a week from the office.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, optimize, and maintain high-quality, scalable web interfaces using modern front-end frameworks.
Convert UI/UX mockups, wireframes, and user stories into responsive, interactive web pages.
Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility compliance, and front-end performance tuning.
Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences.
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices for front-end architecture.
Integrate UI components with RESTful APIs / GraphQL and backend services.
Support Agile processes: sprint planning, grooming, estimations, and delivery.
Identify and fix UI inconsistencies, performance issues, and usability gaps.
Required Qualifications
4+ years of hands-on experience in Front-End Development.
Strong proficiency in:
JavaScript (ES6+)
TypeScript
React (Mandatory
HTML5, CSS3, Flexbox, Grid
Experience with state management (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar).
Experience integrating with RESTful / GraphQL APIs.
Understanding of WCAG accessibility, responsive design, and UI performance optimization.
Experience with Git, version control, and CI/CD workflows.
Ability to work onsite in Chennai, 5 days per week.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong production experience with React + TypeScript.
Familiarity with testing tools such as Jest, Cypress, or RTL.
Experience working with component libraries/design systems (Material UI, Chakra UI, Ant Design, etc.).
Knowledge of build tools like Vite, Webpack, Babel.
Exposure to AWS / Azure / GCP cloud setups.
Experience working in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
