Job Description

This Position reports to:

Lead Architect/Platform Owner

Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity develop and enhance complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in one or more of platform and application management. Each day, you will execute assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards. You will also showcase your expertise by providing curate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline.

The work model for the role is: #LI-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Motion Business High Power division in Bangalore India.
You will be mainly accountable for:

Performing a variety of software engineering tasks in the assigned area of software development, software quality engineering, software testing, DevOps, cybersecurity, software release, support, and maintenance, and/or release management, with limited supervision.
Contributing (independently) to the software development lifecycle that includes requirements, conceptualization, prototyping, design, coding, testing, release, and subsequent maintenance and operations.
Creating highly structured and maintainable code and deliverables with right amount of documentation.
Embracing software architecture and design patterns in development to achieve better software metrics across software modularity such as coupling and cohesiveness.

Qualifications for the role :

Bachelors / Masters degree in Electronics, Computer science or related field with 7 to 10 years of experience in Web Application Development using Microsoft Technologies
You are highly skilled in leading and architecting complex web applications, demonstrable problem-solving skills, and the ability to make technical decisions.
Ability to demonstrate your Proficiency in object-oriented design, multi-threading, and asynchronous programming with respect to Design patterns and principles.
Strong experience in Advanced C#, .NET, .NET Core, WebAPI, XML, LINQ, HTML, CSS, bootstrap
Good knowledge of SQL server and database scripting and Experience with testing frameworks and unit/integration testing like NUnit, XUnit, NSubsitute
Good knowledge of communication over HTTP, HTTPS, REST, SOAP protocols with other devices or applications.
Familiarity with frontend frameworks, cyber security and secure coding practices is an advantage
Basic understanding of Cloud Technologies, Microservices, Azure and Cloud development and Basic knowledge of WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation), MVVM, WCF
