R&D PMTS, Device Engineering (Semiconductor)

You will be responsible for Device Engineering activities related to the transfer, feature additions, and improvements of 28-90nm technologies. This includes collaborating with the Fab integration team, assisting the Business team in performance targets and cost analysis, working on test chip layouts, and meeting project performance requirements. Additionally, you will lead a cross-functional team, build strong customer relationships, conduct competitor benchmarking, and develop roadmaps. You will also present to internal and customer senior executives and may need to travel as necessary. Your essential attributes should include the ability to manage, mentor, and lead a team, work independently with a strong drive to succeed, collaborate effectively with diverse teams, adapt your style to different situations, approach challenges with curiosity and resilience, build relationships, and explore new ideas proactively. To qualify for this role, you should have an M.S or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, or equivalent. You should possess a strong understanding of device physics, process modules, yield improvement, failure mechanisms, and analytical techniques. Experience in transistor development and optimization for at least one CMOS node, deep knowledge of CMOS parameters, and the ability to optimize transistors based on different process steps are essential. You should also be able to design and layout E-test structures and interpret data from them. An innovative mindset is crucial for this position. Ideally, you should have 7+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry with a proven track record of developing new technologies successfully. Problem-solving skills using TCAD, design of experiments, and bench tools will be advantageous for this role.,
