R&D Executive . Liquid Ink Development & Plant Administration

We are seeking an experienced and technically sound professional for the role of R&D Executive Liquid Ink Development & Plant Administration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the research, development, and formulation of liquid inks, with a strong foundation in ink production processes, along with the ability to manage plant-level administrative responsibilities.

Role & responsibilities

R&D and Product Development:

- Formulate and develop liquid inks (Solvent-based, Water-based) for Flexographic and Gravure printing.

- Innovate and improve ink properties such as adhesion, gloss, drying speed, color strength, and printability.

- Conduct trials and pilot tests for new formulations.

- Maintain thorough documentation for all formulations, trials, and product performance.

Production Coordination:

- Work closely with the production team to scale up formulations.

- Monitor production batches to ensure consistency and quality.

- Troubleshoot production-related technical issues and implement corrective measures.

Quality Assurance & Testing:

- Conduct lab analysis and testing of raw materials, intermediates, and final products.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards.

Plant Administration

:

- Oversee day-to-day plant operations, including workforce coordination, material planning, and process efficiency.

- Maintain records for raw material usage, production output, inventory, and safety compliance.

- Liaise with purchase, dispatch, and logistics departments for smooth operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of liquid ink chemistry and formulation techniques.

- Hands-on experience in ink manufacturing plants.

- Sound understanding of production planning, quality control, and plant documentation.

- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and coordinate across departments.

- Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems (preferred).

- Good communication and leadership skills.
