R&D Engineer - Product Development (Mechanical Design)

As an R&D Engineer focusing on Product Development with a specialization in Mechanical Design, your role will involve driving the complete product development process which includes concept creation, design, prototyping, testing, and overseeing production. You will be responsible for preparing 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs utilizing tools such as SolidWorks/AutoCAD. Additionally, you will conduct mechanical analysis and validation, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams for project execution, and optimize designs for enhanced performance, cost efficiency, and manufacturability while ensuring adherence to safety and industry standards. Key Responsibilities: - Drive complete product development lifecycle: from conceptualization to design, prototyping, testing, and production. - Create and prepare 3D models, technical drawings, and BOMs using SolidWorks/AutoCAD. - Perform mechanical analysis and validation to ensure product integrity. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate seamless project execution. - Optimize designs for improved performance, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability. - Ensure compliance with safety and industry standards throughout the development process. Qualifications Required: - B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum of 2 years of experience in R&D or mechanical product development. - Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools. - Sound knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and testing procedures. - Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and meticulous documentation capabilities.
