R&D Engineer - Dessicant Dryer

The primary objective of this role is to design and develop dryer products that meet Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) parameters. As a member of the team, you will be responsible for the new product development of Dryers while ensuring they meet the specified QCD parameters. Additionally, you will be in charge of engineering change management and updates to existing products. Your key focus will be on ensuring reliable products by maintaining the availability, adequacy, and adherence of processes to enable the production of high-quality products with minimal defects per million units (DPMU). You will also be tasked with identifying and implementing ways to reduce material costs through innovative design solutions. The ideal candidate for this role should hold a BTech in Mechanical Engineering, preferably with an MTech in the Thermal domain. You should have 5 to 8 years of core experience in the design and development of desiccant dryers, particularly for compressed air applications. Preferred qualifications include expertise in desiccant dryers, heat exchangers, fans, valves, and controllers. Knowledge of manufacturing and testing facility requirements, as well as a strong understanding of the supplier network for dryer-related parts, will be beneficial. Familiarity with statutory regulations, industry standards, and certification requirements is also desirable for this position.,
